Trexler Hirn

Trexler is a passionate learner, educator, and mountain professional based in Carbondale, Colorado. After a decade of academic and intercultural pursuits across the East Coast and Europe—studying chemistry, engineering, and experiential education—he returned to Colorado inspired to co-found Gnarlos with Erikson. His path weaves together science, storytelling, and sport: from competitive freeride skiing and professional instruction to tutoring in math and science, to hands-on video production and camera operation in dynamic mountain environments. Behind the lens and on the snow, Trexler brings a thoughtful, interdisciplinary perspective—capturing human expression, movement, and the deep connection between people and the landscapes that shape them.
